Located at the crown of the head, when Sahasrara is unhealthily burdened with samskaras, it is difficult to express our autonomy and we may be overly influenced by societal or religious teachings.  Ingrained beliefs may hamper the attainment of our vision.

The seed sound for Sahasrara is OM.  When we chant OM the energy naturally rises to Sahasrara and we become more spiritually inclined.
